- 1. Wash strawberries and drain. Slice off the hulls and discard.
- 2. Slice each strawberry from top to bottom or crosswise. Try to make the pieces close in size, about 1/8 to 1/4-inch (3-6 mm) thick.
- 3. Arrange the slices of strawberry on the dehydrator trays with a space of about half inch between them.
- 4. Dehydrate at 135°F (57°C) for 8 to 14 hours.
- 5. Let cool completely, store in airtight containers and place in a cool, dry and dark place.
